💜 Why Support & Shop RenU by Unafaa International? 💜

At RenU, we believe in restoring dignity, empowering women, and breaking cycles of poverty—because every woman matters.

RenU is Unafaa’s new ministry dedicated to helping young girls, women, mothers, widows, and survivors of human trafficking build a better, sustainable future. Through education, training, mentorship, protection, and employment, RenU provides a full-time workshop where women in Kenya learn valuable skills and create beautiful, handcrafted products sold locally and internationally.

Why Your Support Matters

Empowerment Through Employment – RenU equips women with vocational training, financial literacy, and business skills, helping them become self-sufficient and independent.

💛 Breaking the Cycle of Poverty – With over 8 million widows and 30% of female-headed households in Kenya, RenU provides stable income and opportunities for women who need them most.

🎓 Education & Mentorship – Women in our program learn sewing, beadwork, and crafting, transforming their talents into a sustainable source of income.

🛡️ Protection & Restoration – Many of the women we serve have experienced poverty, abandonment, or human trafficking. RenU provides a safe and supportive environment for them to heal, grow, and thrive.

🌍 Global Impact, Local Change – When you shop RenU, you directly support Kenyan artisans while making a global statement for fair trade, ethical fashion, and women’s empowerment.

How You Can Make a Difference

🛍️ Shop with Purpose – Every purchase supports a woman’s journey to financial independence.
💝 Give a Gift that Gives Back – Share a unique, handcrafted piece that tells a powerful story.
🙌 Spread the Word – The more people know about RenU, the more lives we can transform!

✨ Support. Shop. Empower. Change Lives. ✨

Rose Njuguna is a native Kenyan. She is one of eight siblings who lacked a guardian due to death and abandonment. Rose survived for two years relying on God’s provision and through members of the community. A local school employee led her to an orphanage at eleven, where she was cared for until adulthood. Rose is a mother of a two-year-old boy and has struggled to find work since leaving the orphanage. Unafaa International partnered with Rose in 2022 by sending her back to training and then to head up the Renu Women’s Workshop for Unafaa. Rose hopes that her empowerment through this effort will be the first of many ripples which will lift women and give them a purpose.

“I hope by being chosen, maybe I can help change someone else’s life.” - Rose
