Tonda Bates
Tonda is a mother to six amazing children and married to Jason for 10 years. She has been an Advanced Cosmetologist for seventeen years, a cheerleading coach and mentoring youth for over twenty years. Tonda has a passion to take care of others, open one's eyes to those suffering in the world, and that all acts of kindness be done with love, grace and gratitude.
Kim Bostater
Hospitality
Kim has been to Kenya twice. The children and adults there have taught her so much about what it looks like to be truly thankful, unconditional love and the joy of little things. She is thankful to be a part of a ministry that lives out James 1:27- pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this; to visit orphans and widows in their distress.
Ryan Bostater M.Ed
Founder & President
Ryan has been teaching in the state of Ohio for more than 10 years. He has been traveling to Kenya since 2012 leading multiple teams to serve the Fatherless. Ryan has served on two non-profit boards before starting Unafaa in 2018. Ryan serves as the director of our Hope Teams. He is dedicated to providing HOPE for those in need.
Courtnie Kuhn
Executive Chair
Courtnie is an Intervention Specialist and has a huge heart for helping those who are considered the least of these. Her passion for teaching and helping students carries over into the missions field. Having been on several overseas missions trips to work with children has fed into this passion and she is excited to see where God leads Unafaa.
Sam Reid
Vice President
Sam recently graduated from Dayton Christian and will be attending the University of Cincinnati to study business administration. Sam is passionate about the love of God which has changed his life and can change the lives for others . He is excited to serve with Unafaa and to help serve others around the globe, with the same love that I have experienced myself.
Jameson Vaughan
Jameson is self-employed trying to grow his lawn care and landscaping business. He has been to Kenya twice and both trips were life changing for him. He is truly thankful to be able to help grow Unafaa and minister to the people of Kenya. Philippians 4:13 - “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
